merit badge requirements:
Once the JG completes the session, the Merit Badge (blue cards) can be brought on the last day of the session, or during the off season by making an appointment. (See sign off check list)
Director (Brittany Orduño) is certified to sign off on Boy Scout (blue cards) to obtain Merit Badges in First Aid, Swimming, and Lifesaving. (Note: These are the only badges, cards or organization the Director is authorized to sign off on.) |

(2) Options for Sign off:
(during) the summer program
- Director (Brittany Orduño) will sign off the blue cards when the program is complete.
- Just bring the blue cards (FULLY FILLED OUT) on the last day of the program.
OR
- Just bring the blue cards (FULLY FILLED OUT) on the last day of the program.
OR
(off season) of the summer program
- Contact the program Director by email [email protected] and select a Merit Badge Delivery Option (listed below).
DELIVERY OPTIONS:
a. In Person
Call the park main office (626) 334-1065 and set up an appointment to stop by Santa Fe Dam on a day the Program Director is available to sign off the cards. b. By Mail Mail in blue cards, along with a return envelope (including: your household return address and enough stamps for return - they will be signed and mailed back - addressed to program Director (Brittany Orduno). Bring a sealed envelope addressed to the program Director (Brittany Orduno) and drop it off in the Main Park Office (Parking lot 1). Ask to be placed in the Junior Lifeguard mailbox. Once the Director receives and signs the cards (you will be emailed), you can then pick them back up. (This can be done any day of the week within park hours) |
